Mayo welcomes Director Jiang Yonghong and staff of the Yuzhong District Foreign Affairs Office (YZFAO) today to explore potential areas of cooperation between the Consulate and the YZFAO. The two sides discussed points of convergence with respect to the promotion of economic, cultural, and public diplomacy programs. INVITATION TO WATCH AND SUPPORT FILIPINO ATHLETE, ASA MILLER, IN THE 2022 BEIJING WINTER OLYMPICS
The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing is pleased to invite all Filipinos in its jurisdiction to show their support for our country’s lone athlete in the ongoing 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Mr. Asa Miller.
Mr. Miller is competing in the Slalom and Giant Slalom events, tentatively scheduled on the following dates:

The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing is pleased to invite the public to the Season 1 Rerun of Fiesta Filipinas every Saturday of the whole month of February 2022. This online rerun is also in conjunction with the celebration in February of the Philippine National Arts Month as the episodes showcase the artistic journey of bisitas (guests, participants) as they experience the lively fiestas through the virtual platform.

Chongqing PCG Personnel Learn of the Origin of and Traditions Surrounding the Chinese New Year and Spring Festival
13 January 2022 – To foster a deeper understanding of Chinese culture for the enhancement of people-to-people ties, the Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing conducted a lecture on Chongqing-specific customs and traditions observed during the Chinese New Year and Spring Festival which will be celebrated from 31 January to 6 February 2022. The orientation was led by Post’s senior interpreter, Mr. Wang Tian (Timothy Wong).
