Philippine Consulate General Partners with the Filipino Community to Organize the First Cultural Performance Group in Chongqing 

Chongqing, 26 October 2024. The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing hosted a dinner for the newly-formed Cultural Performance Group from among members of the Filipino Community to explore opportunities to promote Filipino talent and culture in Chongqing.

The Cultural Performance Group will create a repertoire of Philippine songs and cultural dances. Consul General Ivan Frank M. Olea (seventh from left) informed the group that the Consulate General would organize activities to allow them to promote Philippine culture in Chongqing.

Consul General Olea expressed his deep appreciation for the cooperation of the Filipino Community in Chongqing, especially as the Consulate prepares for the 50th Anniversary of Philippines-China Diplomatic Relations next year. END.
