Celebrating National Arts Month with the Filipino Community and Consulate General in Chongqing.
15 February 2025, Chongqing. In line with this year's theme "Ani ng Sining, Diwa at Damdamin", the Filipino Community in Chongqing, together with the Philippine Consulate General, proudly hosted a vibrant Malong Dance Workshop.
Through this workshop, we celebrated the deep connection between art, spirit, and emotions—showcasing the beauty of Filipino traditions and the power of culture to unite and inspire. The Malong Dance, with its graceful movements, embodied the heart and soul of Mindanao’s rich cultural heritage.
Ms. Sarah Feliciano Martin of the Cultural Group of the Filipino Community in Chongqing led the workshop and shared the importance of the Malong as an expression of sining and a vector of diwa.
A heartfelt thank you to those who participated and made this event unforgettable. Together, we continue to honor and share the beauty of Filipino arts.
