Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing Showcases PH Brands At The 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade

Chongqing, 25 May 2025 — The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing proudly participated in the 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) held at the Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Center from 22 May to 25 May 2025.

The Philippine booth featured a curated selection of Filipino products, highlighting both well-known brands and locally sourced products. Visitors had the opportunity to discover the award-winning Bebebalm brand of natural products and the popular  Oishi snacks. The booth also featured Baguio coffee and a variety of Filipino condiments. 

The booth also supported the Love the Philippines campaign and promoted diving and other tourism opportunities in the Philippines. 

Participation in WCIFIT reflects the Consulate's commitment to strengthening trade and economic ties between the Philippines and Western China, as well as supporting Chongqing Municipal Government’s policy of opening up to become a major economic hub in the region. The event served as a valuable platform to promote Philippine brands, attract potential partnerships, and introduce Chinese consumers to the richness of Philippine-made products. END
