PH Consulate General and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Reaffirm Commitment to Work Together

(Left photo) Consul General Ivan Frank Olea (left) assured Dr. Deng Lin (right), Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Chongqing Committee and Chairperson of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Chongqing Chamber of Commerce, of the Consulate’s continued commitment to increase trade and investment between the Philippines and Chongqing.
Dr. Deng noted the good relations CCPIT has with the Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing and looked forward to increased engagement with the latter. She offered several suggestions on the way forward. END.
Philippine Consul General and Commercial Counselor Visit Shapingba’s Business Center and International Logistics Hub Park
Commercial Counselor Glenn Peñaranda and Consul General Ivan Frank Olea visited the Business Center and International Logistics Hub Park in Shapingba District, Chongqing on 11 November 2024.
They met with Vice District Mayor of Shapingba Mr. Hu Yi and Commerce Commission Director General Mr. Qing Feng to discuss increasing bilateral trade through the International Land-Sea Trade Corridor which connects 523 ports in 124 countries and regions.

Chongqing, 15 November 2024 – The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing, represented by Consul General Ivan Frank Olea, conducts a virtual meeting with officials from Mapúa University to discuss opportunities for education cooperation in Chongqing and Southwestern China.
