COMELEC Accreditation for Mass Media and Election Observers

            The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing hereby informs all concerned of the ongoing accreditation by the Philippine Commission on Elections (COMELEC) for Mass Media and Election Observers and Monitors for the 9 May 2022 national and local elections.

            For interested media outfits and practitioners, the procedure for the filing of application for accreditation is detailed in Section 6 of Resolution No. 10739, which may be accessed through this link:

            Furthermore, interested foreign observers and monitors may wish to take note of the procedure outlined in Section 3 of Resolution No. 10740 with respect to the filing of application for accreditation, which is available in this link:

            Applications for accreditation are to be filed directly with the COMELEC through the links indicated in the Resolutions.

The deadline for filing of applications for accreditation is on 11 March 2022.
