To the Filipinos in Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan and Sichuan:
The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing wishes to remind all of you that the last day for registration as an overseas voter is on 30 SEPTEMBER 2021. Those with active registration and were able to vote in the 2019 election at or through the Consulate need not register anew.
For those who have not yet registered or whose registration was already deactivated, we advise you to register with the Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing before the deadline specified above.
To register, please follow these steps:
- On your web browser, open https://irehistro.comelec.gov.ph/irehistro/ovf1 and fill out the online form.
- Print the form together with the QR Code. Kindly send an advance copy to the Consulate’s email address together with your request for appointment.
- Proceed to the Consulate with the printed form on the date of your appointment. Please also bring your passport when you visit the Consulate to complete your registration.
For the convenience of those setting appointments for consular services (passport, notarial, civil registration, etc), the Consulate will include your overseas voter registration in your appointment if you are not yet registered with the Consulate as an overseas voter.
For those without any plan to avail themselves of consular services soon but still not registered as an overseas voter, the Consulate strongly advises you to proceed with the online registration and set an appointment with the Consulate, in order for you to be registered as an overseas voter for the coming 2022 National Election.
