REMINDER ON LAST DAY OF REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION AND TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION

          The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing would like to remind the members of the Filipino Communities in Chongqing Municipality, Yunnan, Sichuan and Guizhou Provinces who are yet to register as overseas voters, that the last day of registration and certification is on 30 September 2018.

          The Consulate encourages all Filipinos to register earlier before the last day of registration due to the expected influx of tourists in Chongqing starting 29 September as to the forthcoming Chinese National Holidays, which may result in difficulty in transportation and massive crowd in Jiefangbei area where the Consulate is located.

          Nevertheless, should there be no other convenient time to register except on 29-30 September 2018, please contact the Consulate at the following mobile numbers: 15823972513 and 15808057032. The Consulate may need to coordinate your expected arrival with the WFC management (Consulate’s landlord/lessor) during these holidays.

          Please note however that those who intend to transfer their registration record from one Consulate/Embassy to another Consulate/Embassy shall only have until 15 September 2018 to do so per latest COMELEC Advisory. END
