PH Explores Chongqing’s Health Food Market, Promotes Coconut Water

Chongqing, 30 October 2023 – The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing, in collaboration with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Shanghai, participated in the 2023 Chongqing International Consumer Products Expo and Meeting Bashu-International Procurement Fair at the Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center in Nan’an District, Chongqing. Running from 27 to 29 October 2023, the Expo featured various products from 20 countries and provinces in China.

Aiming to raise the profile of its quality products in an increasingly health-conscious and convenient food consumer market, the Philippines promoted Aqua Coco 100% Natural Coconut Water from Century Pacific Agricultural Ventures, Inc. as a “natural source of electrolytes and antioxidants essential for good health and hydration.”   Additionally, Philippine investment opportunities were highlighted with the Department of Trade and Industry’s Make it Happen campaign.

Gathering over 500 exhibitors in a 30,000 square-meter area, the Expo provided yet another platform to increase consumer awareness of Philippine products in Southwest China and create opportunities for their potential distribution in the mega-municipality of Chongqing. END
