Philippine Consulate General, Pangasinan Governor eye mutually beneficial cooperation with Chinese local governments

Acknowledging the value of friendly cooperation between local governments, Philippine Consul General Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo and Pangasinan Governor Ramon V. Guico III met virtually on 13 September 2023 to discuss possible partnership agreements covering certain provinces, municipality and districts under the consular jurisdiction of the Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing. Among the thematic anchors for local government cooperation include agriculture, trade, tourism, culture, education, renewable energy, infrastructure, and health. Together with the provincial government of Pangasinan, the Philippine Consulate General hopes to contribute further to the enhancement of longstanding Philippines-China friendship.
