PH Consulate General in Chongqing Explores African Swine Flu Solutions for PH outbreaks

Chongqing, 28 October 2022 – Philippine Consul General Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo met today with representatives of the Chongqing Shenmeng New Material Technology Co., Ltd. led by its Executive Director, Mr. Liu Jin, at the latter’s office in Nan’An District, Chongqing for a briefing on the company’s latest technologies that could find application in the Philippines, particularly for African Swine Flu Virus outbreaks.

They discussed potential uses of New Materials and photocatalysis technology for the Philippines’ PHP 200 billion hog industry as well as investment opportunities for Chongqing Shenmeng in the Philippines.   Both sides exchanged ideas on ways forward for mutually beneficial cooperation. END
