PH Consulate General, Chongqing Human Resource Bureau eye sharing of good practices in vocational trainings

Chongqing, 21 September 2022 – Upon the invitation of the Chongqing Municipal Human Resource and Social Security Bureau, Philippine Consul General Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo visited the Yujiaren Health and Elderly Service Co., Ltd.’s training center in Yubei District, Chongqing.

A meeting with the Bureau, led by Deputy Director General Xia Yangsong, followed the Consul General’s visit. The Bureau recognized the world-renowned professionalism and competence of Filipino workers overseas. They discussed potential synergies in vocational education that could yield mutual benefit.

“Chongqing’s vocational education offers broad options for establishing cooperation between our governments and institutions in various areas of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) that can address the demands of important economic sectors. We look forward to the further development of ideas exchanged during our meeting into concrete, mutually beneficial proposals,” Consul General Mayo remarked. END
