PH Consulate General, Guizhou Commerce Department discuss pathways to broader economic ties

Chongqing, 23 August 2022 – During an official visit to Guiyang, Guizhou Province, Philippine Consul General Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo met with Mr. Huang Xianxi, Chief of the Finance Division of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce, and other officials of the Department, for an introductory discussion of commercial relations between the Philippines and Guizhou as well as potential drivers of broader economic ties going forward. 

Both sides will endeavor to carry out joint programs between the Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing and the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce, including the possible co-hosting of a Philippine trade fair in the city of Guiyang and a Philippines-Guizhou Business Forum.

Consul General Mayo conveyed assurances of the Consulate’s readiness to work with relevant agencies in pursuit of mutual benefits from economic partnerships between the Philippines and Guizhou Province. END
