Consul General Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo and Guizhou Foreign Affairs Office Director General Zhang Hanlin Explore Areas of Mutual Interest between the Philippines and Guizhou

23 September 2021, Guiyang – On the eve of the 2021 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, Consul General Mayo paid a courtesy call on Director General Zhang Hanlin of the Guizhou Provincial Foreign Affairs Office. During the meeting, they found many areas where the interests of the Philippines and Guizhou converge, such as green development, technical and vocational training, agricultural and heritage tourism, poverty alleviation, and sister-city relations. Consul General Mayo and Director General Zhang assured each other of their openness to further engage in the different areas of potential cooperation and agreed to hold subsequent meetings for exploratory talks and discussions.
