CHONGQING PCG HOLDS HYBRID FILIPINO COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP

21 September 2021 – The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing held a hybrid Filipino Community Fellowship today at the Crowne Plaza Hotel with 38 Filipinos in Chongqing joining the in-person gathering, and other Filipinos based in Yunnan and Sichuan joining virtually via Zoom. Consul General Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo provided updates on consular, economic, cultural and public diplomacy activities of the Philippine Consulate, as well as programs planned for the rest of 2021. For his part, Vice Consul Adrian G. Miras also shared reminders on Post’s consular services, including assistance-to-nationals services and overseas voting. The fellowship culminated in the oath-taking ceremony of the members and induction of the officers of the newly formed Filipino organization, the United Filipinos in Chongqing (UFC). A simple Filipino merienda capped the community gathering. END
