Chongqing PCG Holds a Health and Wellness and Financial Literacy Lectures cum Christmas Gathering
19 December 2018 - The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing holds a Health & Wellness and Financial Literacy Lectures cum Christmas Gathering for the members of Filipino Community in Chongqing on 19 December 2018 at Café 100 of Harbour Plaza Chongqing in Jiefangbei, Yuzhong District.
The lectures and gathering was attended by more than 70 Filipinos, 45 females and 31 males.
Ms. Sarah Fernando Martin, a member of Filipino Community who is a registered nurse and a teacher in the Child First Kindergarten gave a lecture on Health and Wellness. She discussed CPR, the basic skills that everyone should has, especially in a country that very few can speaks English. Mr. Steven Santos, Marketing Director of Allied Bank -China gave information on remittances including rates offered by his bank and investment opportunities that the Filipinos in Chongqing can avail.
The program was enlivened by the duet of Ms. Ramonah Rodriquez and Yvette Siason, games, raffle draw and a group singing of the members of the Filipino community. A delightful dinner was shared among Filipinos. END
