Philippines Promotes Woven Garments, Tourist Destinations, Snacks and Agricultural Products at the 13th Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo 

Chongqing, 20-22 September 2024 - The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing showcased Philippine woven garments of Hibla PH, tourist destinations courtesy of the Philippine Department of Tourism in Shanghai, snacks of Oishi and agricultural products by DOLE and S&W at the 13th Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo held on 20-22 September 2024 at the Chongqing International Expo Center , Yubei District, Chongqing. Participation in the Expo is in line with the Philippine Government’s efforts to bring more FIlipino brands to the international market.

During the opening of the expo, Consul General Ivan Frank M. Olea delivered a message of friendship and support to the Chinese people and the government of Chongqing in an interview with  Western China International Communication Organization (WCICO)  .

The 13th Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo is an annual international event since 2019, organized by Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo (CQCIE), with full support from the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. Malaysia, Myanmar, Japan, Australia, Belarus, Togo, Ghana, Senegal, Afghanistan, Germany, Pakistan, and Uruguay also participated in the Expo. END
