PH Consulate General in Chongqing visits Midea Chongqing’s Chiller Factory

Chongqing, 20 September 2024 – (Right photo) Philippine Consul General Ivan Frank M.Olea (leftmost), visited Midea Group’s Building Technologies Workshop and chiller factory in Chongqing. Midea, known for their consumer appliances sold in the Philippines, also manufactures advanced air conditioning and chiller systems for buildings.

Midea showcased their highly-automated and smart factory for the production of their chillers, along with their new compressor technology and other innovations. The visit is part of the Consulate General’s initiative to foster and improve economic cooperation with Chongqing-based firms, especially those with business interests in the Philippines.
