PUBLIC ADVISORY
ENTRY PROTOCOLS FOR FILIPINOS ARRIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES FROM ABROAD
The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing hereby informs the public that beginning 10 February 2022, the following rules will apply with respect to Filipino nationals arriving in the Philippines:
- All inbound Filipinos must register with the One Health Pass (www.onehealthpass.com.ph) prior to arrival in the Philippines.
- Fully vaccinated Filipino nationals need to:
a. Present a negative RT-PCR Test result taken within 48 hours prior to departure from the country of origin (i.e. first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to the Philippines);
b. Undergo self-monitoring for symptoms for seven (7) days and must report to the destination LGU in the event of symptoms. Mandatory facility-based will no longer be required.
- For unvaccinated or partially vaccinated Filipino nationals, or those whose vaccination status cannot be independently validated, they must:
a. Present a negative RT-PCR Test result taken within 48 hours prior to the date of departure from the country of origin (i.e. first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to the Philippines);
b.Undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test taken on the fifth day from the date of arrival, and continue with home quarantine until the 14thday from date of arrival.
- For unvaccinated minor Filipino nationals:
a. If below 12 years old, they must follow the quarantine protocols of their accompanying parent or adult guardian traveling with them;
b. If 12 to 17 years old, they must follow the classification and procedures based on their vaccination status (i.e., whether vaccinated or unvaccinated);
c. If based on the rules above, the minor has to undergo facility-based quarantine, they must be accompanied by their parent, whether foreign or Filipino.
- For fully recovered Filipinos but with positive RT-PCR pre-departure test result, they can still enter the Philippines by presenting:
a. A positive RT-PCR test taken nor earlier than 10 days but not later than 30 days prior to the date of departure from the point of origin;
b. The positive RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to the date and time of departure from the point of origin;
c. A medical certificate stating that the Filipino (i) was an asymptomatic, mild, moderate, severe or critical COVID-19 case, as the case may be; (ii) has completed the
mandatory isolation period; (iii) is no longer infectious; and (iv) has been allowed free movement and travel.’
- If vaccinated, the rule under number 2 above shall apply;
- If unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or whose vaccination status cannot be determined, the rule under number 3 above shall apply.
