PUBLIC ADVISORY
Adherence to Health Protocols

The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing would like to advise the Filipinos in its jurisdiction to pay close attention to the announcements of their respective localities and companies with respect to health protocols and measures to prevent COVID-19 infection and transmission.

The local governments are intensifying their prevention measures to avoid any possibility or resurgence of local transmissions and outbreak of the virus, considering the coming Spring Festival when millions of people are expected to travel to their hometowns.

Some of these measures include avoiding unnecessary travel outside your city or province, limiting the conduct of public gatherings, wearing masks, and frequent washing of hands, among others.

For necessary travels, kindly check first if there is any requirement for a nucleic acid test at your destination, in addition to a green health code.

Should you need face masks for personal use and if you are in Chongqing, you may visit the Consulate from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, except holidays. The Consulate also encourages Filipinos under its jurisdiction but outside Chongqing to coordinate with their Fil-Com leaders, if possible, if they wish to facilitate the distribution of masks among themselves. Masks will also be given to Filipinos with consular transactions. Masks are available in limited quantity and will be given on a first-come-first-served basis while supplies last.
