ADVISORY
Mandatory 14-Day Quarantine for All Arriving Passengers in the Philippines
The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing would like to advise the Filipinos in its jurisdiction and foreign nationals who are allowed to enter the Philippines that the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases ordered that all arriving passengers – OFWs, non-OFWs, and foreign nationals exempted from the travel ban – will now be subject to mandatory quarantine for a period not exceeding 14 days and/or testing upon arrival in the Philippines.
Further, please be informed that all arriving passengers should expect significant delays in traveling to their destinations outside Metro Manila due to limited transportation options. Prospective travelers to the Philippines are, therefore, advised to postpone or delay non-essential travel to the Philippines.
Please be guided accordingly.
