URGENT NOTICE

           Due to the implementation of strict traffic control and regulation on Christmas Eve, 24 December 2019, by the local Chongqing Government, particularly affecting Yuzhong District and Jiefangbei Area where the Consulate is located, please be informed that the Consulate General will close at 3:00 PM on said date to allow Post’s personnel, travel agents, and other clients to be able to leave Jiefangbei Area before the full implementation of the traffic control.

          In particular, it was announced that the Chongqing Rail Transit will not be stopping at the stations near the Consulate General or within the Yuzhong District, in general. In addition, public buses entering the area will be significantly reduced, while parking will be prohibited for private vehicles at commercial areas near the Consulate.

          Everyone is advised to take note of this Notice and the announcement from the local government to avoid any inconvenience.

          Regular operations will resume on 27 December 2019 for all transactions.
