 Fabricated Article on “New Immigration Rules”

The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing would like to inform the Filipino Community in Chongqing Municipality, Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan Provinces that the Public Security Bureau (Yuzhong Branch) informed the Consulate that there are no recent changes in the immigration rules and the article circulating in the social media and went viral in the wechat entitled “New Immigration Requirements” is a fabricated article, a very bad April Fool’s Day joke.

Please be advised that circulating unverified news and fake articles in the social media may subject the concerned individuals to criminal liability.END
